Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

This is something I found on Gordon Mackay Blogsite and i think that it is very inspiring.

"We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage.

We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire. The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now.

Alfred D Souza said: "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time... and remember that time waits for no one..."

Read that paragraph the second time if you need too, remember it well, because that maybe the answer many of us are looking for.

Power shortage in my area

I hate power shortage. I can't play miniclip, can't watch the End of the World flash animation (hillarious, must check out if you haven't seen it already), can't listen to new podcasts, can't download new porns.... Okay maybe not the latter BUT i just realize how dependent we are on electricity.

As i know, the world's supply of coal (our main energy source) can only last us for the most , 100 yrs, correct me if i am wrong, and after that we've got to start using nuclear power (last approx 50 yrs), solar energy(produce too little to make it worthwhile) and wind(same)... which mean we're screwed.

Can you imagine living in a place where air conditioning, TV, radio, refridgerator, Blogger.com etc. do not work? and the outside temperature is like 40 degress? That, for me, is hell.

So, all upstanding citizens of whatever countries, use electricity like there's no tomorrow, cos one day, we are not going to get any!

I was just kidding, save as much energy as you can, for your children, the children of your children and so on.

Pretty Sunset

This is the photo I took 1 month ago. I was walking aroud the school and i happened to see this pretty scene. The house in the photo was a teacher's house behind my boarding house.
Pretty?

A new rap Single. HOT !!! You can't miss it.

It's called "George Bush don't like black people" Link: http://www.k-otix.com/
Download it and hear for yourself.

Okay, i know it sounds a bit ... strange for Bush to dislike colored people (including blacks). But this is what exactly people in New Orleans (Louisiana) are thinking right now.

We all know the Hurricane Katrina and her friend Rita (such pretty name for such destructive monsters) struck that state and many, many people died.

What amazed me wasn't that death counts of black people over the death counts of white people, but the fact that it took so fcking long for Bush to send people over there to help. I don't know whether he's busy discussing the oil price with Osama Bin Laden or reading Micheal Moore's newest book, but the delay he created, caused otherwise avoidable deaths in New Orleans ...

People in New Orleans, I agree with you. And i love this song too.

My struggle

I suck at doing homework and I'm not planning to get better at it. I can NEVER sit down and do 4 hours straight of hw/revision etc which I'm supposed to do this holiday to prepare for my BIG exams.....

If anyone know how to help me out, like tips or little tricks, i'll greatly appreciate it.
Cheers

My favourite podcast show

First of all, if you guys don't know what podcasting is... it's time to stop going out, stay inside your room and become a nerd! Jk.

Okay, brief explanation, podcasting is like... a radio talk show type thing, you can subscribe to certain podcast "station" to receive your weekly/monthly "show". iTunes supports it, so if you have an iPod, and i know lots of us do, just go to iTunes, go to the Podcasts section and voila! But don't need to have an iPod to do so.

Back to the point, i found this show called "The Starkcast" , it's made by this guys called JimK (presumably has no life), talking about Movies, Musics, Politics Abortion Jokes, Technology etc. I know Politics sound frieking boring BUT he does so with a great sense of humour. He also has lots of fan interaction too. Ie: retarded phonecalls and voice msgs.

So, go to iTunes->Podcast->subscribe to Starkcast or alternatively go to http://www.starkcast.com and do the same thing and you shall be .... enlightened.

Okay, back to work.
Bye
